The logic: Once scanned at the venue gate, the code is instantly decommissioned in our live database.

The split: Guest tickets and crew passes are different codes, on different doors.

The logic: Organisers issue QR passes to bar, door, security, and stage crew, plus performers. Those passes are not tickets and are not billed. A separate staff-door link checks them in on show night. Guest tickets will not work on it, and staff QRs will not work on the guest door.

The result: The band and crew get through their entrance without mixing with the guest list. Rehearsals get their own attendance register.
