Organiser Agreement

Last updated: 16 February 2026

1. Introduction

This Organiser Agreement ("Agreement") is between you ("Organiser", "you") and urnextevent.com ("Platform", "we", "us"). By creating an organiser account and listing events on urnextevent.com, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. This Agreement governs the relationship between you and the Platform for the sale of event tickets.

2. How It Works

You list your events on our platform and set your own ticket prices. Buyers purchase tickets through our website. All payments are processed by Stripe and received into the Platform's Stripe account. After your event has taken place, we transfer the ticket revenue (minus fees) to you.

3. Fees

The following fees apply to all ticket sales:

  • Service fee: A flat fee of £2.00 per ticket is charged to the buyer on top of your ticket price. This fee is retained by urnextevent.com.
  • Stripe processing fees: Stripe charges approximately 1.4% + 20p per transaction for UK cards. These fees are deducted from the total payment amount before your payout is calculated.
  • Your payout: You receive the full ticket price you set, minus Stripe's processing fees. The £2 service fee is separate and does not reduce your ticket price.

Example: You set a ticket price of £20. The buyer pays £22 (£20 + £2 service fee). Stripe takes approximately £0.51 in processing fees (1.4% of £22 + 20p). You receive approximately £19.49. We retain the £2 service fee.

4. Payment Terms

Payouts are made after your event has taken place:

  • Payouts are processed within 7 working days after the event date.
  • Payment will be made to the bank account details you provide to us.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date bank details.
  • We reserve the right to withhold payment if there are unresolved disputes, chargebacks, or suspected fraud.

5. Refunds

  • Refund policies for your events are your responsibility. You must clearly communicate your refund policy to buyers.
  • If a buyer requests a refund, we will consult with you before processing it.
  • If you approve a refund, the refund amount (including the £2 service fee) will be deducted from your payout.
  • The Platform reserves the right to issue refunds to protect buyers in cases of fraud, misrepresentation, or failure to deliver the event as described.

6. Event Cancellation

  • If you cancel your event, full refunds (including the service fee) will be issued to all ticket holders.
  • You must notify us as soon as possible if you intend to cancel an event.
  • No payout will be made for cancelled events. If a payout has already been made, you agree to return the full amount within 14 days.

7. Chargebacks

A chargeback occurs when a buyer disputes a payment with their bank. If a chargeback is raised against a ticket sale for your event, you are liable for the chargeback amount plus any fees charged by Stripe (currently £15 per chargeback). This amount will be deducted from your payout or invoiced to you separately.

8. Your Obligations

As an event organiser on our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your events
  • Deliver the event as described on the platform
  • Honour all tickets sold through urnextevent.com
